We came with five adults and two children. My dad ordered a variety of everything, and nothing stood out as bad, so I'm mainly going to list out what my kids actually ate just so I know for next time. Pan fried noodles with seafood - the kids loved the crispy noodles so we definitely have to get it again. Scallion pancakes - My kids ate all of them, so we had to order a second dish. Peking Duck - the skin was so crispy and the meat fatty. I loved it. The kids liked the buns it came with and took them from the rest of us. The shrimp dumplings were delicious and I really liked the tripe. We ended the meal with egg tarts, like always. This restaurant is huge, so we had no problem getting a table at 1 p.m. on a Sunday. My kids also liked watching the crabs in the tank. The parking lot can get pretty busy so we had to park a little ways away. I heard that there have been break ins at this parking lot, so definitely do not leave anything valuable in your car.
Get the bolai/bonai/pu-erh tea. Get the dan dan mein. Get the shrimp noodles. Get the roast duck. Get anything that catches your eye. But do not get anything that you can get an amercanized Chinese restaurant, not because it's bad here, but there are so many more interesting choices to make. The service here is very Chinese Chinese restaurant style, which I've noticed that many non-Asian take as brusque or rude. I think the service is great.
A hidden gem. Little did I realize what an awesome restaurant this is! Came here for a meal for the first time and really enjoyed the authenticity and freshness of its ingredients! Har Gow- 4 1/2 stars Siu Mai - 4 1/2 stars Bok Che Gai - served with traditional oil and onion dip 4 stars Egg Tofu with veggies - 5 stars Roast pork with seaweed appetizer plate- 5 stars Whole steamed sea bass- 4 1/2 stars Beef with mushrooms- 5 stars It was a wonderful meal and we'll be back to try more dishes!
I forgot how good this place was! So glad we stopped by for lunch to treat family members from visiting out of town. The food was nicely flavored, not too oily or rich. The service was fast and efficient and it wasn't too loud so a great family vibe.

The seafood dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highlights included the honey walnut prawns, which were perfectly crispy with a delightful balance of sweet honey glaze and crunchy candied walnuts. The prawns were succulent and complemented wonderfully by the creamy sauce. The ginger crab was another standout, offering tender and flavorful crab meat infused with the aromatic flavors of ginger and scallions. The salt and pepper shrimp were perfectly crispy and seasoned, while the steamed fish was tender and delicately flavored with ginger and scallions. The seafood fried rice was generously portioned, with a delightful mix of shrimp, scallops, and vegetables. To complement the seafood, we also enjoyed a side of sautéed greens, which were fresh and perfectly cooked. The meal was rounded off with a refreshing dessert of mango pudding, providing a sweet and satisfying end to the dinner. **Value:** Dim Sum King offers great value for money. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite. Been three years since I left a review and I've dined here for 13 years and their items just keep getting better! O R D E R E D - fresh geoduck sashimi cooked two way - fresh flower shrimps (translating the Chinese name directly in English) - fresh steamed fish - fresh razor clams - dim sum: sui mai and mini egg tarts are my fave!! - entrees - lots but honestly, I mainly get their seafood here because I know it'll always be a good price, fresh and delicious! V E R D I C T Ben gives the best suggestions when it comes to seafood and everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. They have dim sum all day everyday, who can complain about that. If there's a Chinese restaurant that I don't get sick of coming to and eating at, that would be DSK! Parking at the plaza has its good moments and harder moments but you'll always end up finding a spot, just depends if it's close OR far on a windy Daly City day. Again, I will always rave about their mini egg tarts here because 1) can't find it anywhere else and 2) anywhere else that I have tried - sucks! I don't like my egg tarts with a flaky crust so sue me if you do haha that's not my concern and I love that they have mushrooms IN their sui mai - wins me over everytime.
The food is good. The ambiance is clean and the BEST service from May! Highly recommended!
Popular dim sum with combination of carts and ordering from the menu. FYI, they do charge for tea per person. This is pretty standard. Nice hot dim sum is great for the breezy coastal weather in the area.
Parking is a challenge to find , since the parking lot is shared amongst other businesses in the same plaza . 12:30 pm on a Friday and this place was busy , none the less we were a party of 6 and were seated right away. During the weekends wait time is usually a lot longer, so have some patience. Dim sum is served all day , Dim sum is not served on a push cart. place an order by marking the quantity of items on the order sheet along with the menu . Service here by the staff we encountered were efficient . They all helped with clearing the empty dishes and refills hot water for our tea. This used to be our place for dim sum and Chinese food cravings. Whenever we are in town we try to stop in . We liked all items we ordered, by far they make the best har gaw . The dough is chewy not mushy like many other places we've been too.
